1. How do you think this job changing in the next 5 years or so? _ICBC has changed to an enhanced care system as of May 1st 2021 and people are no longer able to sue each other. Fern is working on the old system where people are allowed to sue each other. As these claims are completed, there will no longer be a need for her job so it will eventually be eliminated. Fern will need to move onto the enhanced care system adjuster job.

__It is valuable to my post secondary plans because I now know that I would not want to have my job involve hearing about people getting hurt. That would hurt me knowing/seeing how their life has changed so much over one thing. I am glad that I have learned about insurance but it is not a field for me.______________________
