During this science project my group and I used communication, creative and critical thinking. Our teacher asked us to find a way how we could increase our heart rate. At this period in time we used all of the core competencies listed above since we had online and face to face communication while also using critical thinking to brainstorm some creative ideas. We also had to use communication to solve the problems that we had to conquer such as, if a person had physical education before science class; how that would effect the solution. One of our group members weren’t allowed to drink energy drinks therefore we had him calculate our results. We used critical thinking to find the solutions to these problems. In conclusion, the experiment was a interesting and a fun project to do and we learned that the energy drinks that we took changed our heart rate only slightly.
My group and I used creative thinking to express our ideas about the industrial pollution. We were assigned to create research about the industrial pollution and how it could be prevented. My group and I used creative thinking to create ideas on how we could present our information in a creative and interesting manor. We encountered many problems due to the amount of time we had to present our information. Therefore we also used critical thinking to solve these problems. My group had lots of information on this interesting assignment and found it difficult to present it all in about 4 minuets. In conclusion, my group and I used creative and critical thinking to help use solve the issues of industrial pollution.
During this science lab my group and I used communication, creative and critical thinking. We were assigned to draw the characteristics of meiosis i and ii. My group used communication to explain our ideas and ask questions about the process. Communication helped us figure out solutions for problems that we encountered such as if there was a part meiosis which we didn’t understand. My partners and I talked with each other to discover new solution to the process. We also used creative and critical thinking brainstorm ideas of to solve these questions as well. We also used these techniques to to present our project in a creative manor. In conclusion, my group and I used communication, creative and critical thinking to present our meiosis project.
