Water Cycle Comic
Reflection:
Using creative thinking was essential for this project since I had to turn a scientific water cycle to a children book. To make the comic make sense, I needed to think and imagine the journey of a little water molecule first. I chose to start it at the top of the mountain, which I needed to draw an extra step describing the little water molecule melting. I couldn’t use many scientific words, so I tried to use the simplest language to discuss the water cycle. I loved creative writing so I added some interesting parts, therefore, it wouldn’t be awkward when I shift from one stage to another stage. For example, my little water molecules expected to make more friends. During the process, I also had to learn how to continue correcting and working on my ideas when my thoughts couldn’t be proved scientifically. I enjoyed drawing this comic because I like making something joyfully and playful in my life.
I want to improve:
My comic wasn’t that colourful, so I wish I can remember to add more colours next time. More colours also can attract people’s interests. And I expect I can make the process of the water cycle more clear since only one word was not enough for explaining.
