A little bit about me, im 14 years old and love to bike and ski when I have the chance, Whistler is my favorite place in the world for all the things you can do there. I love to spend time with my family and friends, while doing things I enjoy like basketball, hockey, and playing video game with my friends. My favorite food is a steak with potatoes, but a also enjoy wood burned pizza. I own a 2016 Norco Aurum A7.2 and I love to find it whenever I get the chance. I Also love my yellow lab that follows me every where I go.This year at school, I hope to make new friends and continue to get good grades.
The video above is one of my favorites because its one of the first mountain biking videos I had ever watched. I learned a lot about biking by just watching other people ride and talk about bikes. When I went to whistler this summer I new that a wanted to try the trail that these guys were riding (A-Line). After getting over my nerves a did it but I defiantly wasn’t going as fast or as high as these pro riders. Now I watch a variety of different biking videos but I still like this one the most. Another reason I like this video is because I love to watch the things they do off jumps, for example a Whip, and I would want to go and try to learn it so I would be able to do it to. After watching this video I wanted to watch more so I watched more of what he posted and the guy he rode with ( Jordan BoosterMaster), and that really inspired me and my friends to start biking and try to get as good as we could!
Favorite Website is PinkBike
PinkBike is one of my favorite websites because it is probably my most visited website, I visit the site about 3 times every day for about 20 minutes a time. This site is basically Craigslist but for anything that is tied to biking. I check it every day because I love to see what kind of bikes are out there. I have sold 2 bikes on this website and also bought the current bike from Pinkbike. This site is used by tons and tons of people daily and is one of the greatest biking sites out there. They are always making the website better with weekly updates that add new features to the site. You can also post videos or yourself biking on pinkbike for everyone to see. This is my favorite website because of all the things you can do on it and how its very easy to navigate around the site.
This is a picture of a snowy mountain and I picked it to represent Skiing. I love to Ski, I ski with friends and family in a lot of places like, Whistler, Sun Peaks and local mountains like Cypress. My first time skiing was in Whistler with my mom, dad and sister. I was super nervous to ski on that day but once I had done it I wanted to go again and again! Now I have done almost every ski run at Whistler and have done one of the hardest runs on Blackcomb (Spankys). This also represents the house that my Grandpa used to own in Whistler. I had lots of great memories there like hanging out with my cousins and going there with my whole family for Christmas. Overall, this is my favorite picture because it reminds me of the great times I’ve had with my family.
This is my favourite quote because I love to play basketball and Michael Jordan is one of my ideals in basketball. the quote I every true and I think that it applies to everything in life. if you don’t fail and put yourself out there and try different things, you will never succeed. I know myself that I have failed and not done what I hoped for but I then learned from that and was able to do what I dint do well on again and improve on it. Sometimes its better to fail then always succeed because if you never felt hardship or failure because then you get better on weaknesses that you have. For example, say my shot in basketball is really bad, but I play against people that I’m better than. I will never realize that my shoot needs to get better to allow me to play with the people that are better than me. Overall, this is my favorite quote because of the message behind it and because it is a basketball quote that I can relate to.
