Hi, I’m Isabel. I’m 14 years old and I’m in grade 9 this year at Heritage Woods Secondary School. The middle school I went to from grade 6-8 was Eagle Mountain Middle. So far this first semester, I’ve met some new people and I enjoy all the classes I have, especially Foods 9. I am excited for the second semester and the following years to come. In my family I have a mom, dad and younger sister who recently began grade 6. When I was younger, my family had 2 wonderful Labrador Crosses. Their names were Max and Sandy. My favorite thing to do is learn how to bake new kinds of foods at home. My hobbies are spending time with my friends outside school, listening to music and watching movies in my free time. My favorite movie by far is, Spider-Man Far From Home. During this winter I would like to learn how to ski.
Favorite Video: I picked this video because I thought this was so inspiring. While watching this video, I loved how even though the soldier was busy with his job, he went out of his way to help puppy in need. I feel like this guy is my role model, I want to be like him when I grow up.
Favorite Website: My Favorite website is Youtube because it is a great website to go onto when you want to be entertained and there are so many funny videos to watch. Although YouTube seems like a simple website, This website isn’t only used for entertainment . For an example, if you wanted to learn something new, you could easily learn a lot about that topic in a video. Overall, I enjoy spending my free time watching videos on YouTube.
Favorite Quote: My favourite quote is “Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.” This quote made me realize that even if you have the slightest bit of hope, anything is possible. This quote is written by; unknown.
Favorite Image: This picture is of Joffre Lake. This is my favourite image because I think that this lake in British Columbia is beautiful. This picture reminds me that there is still good in this world, despite the global warming and climate change going right now. Overall, I love spending time outdoors and exploring new places.
