Hi, my name is Kimiya I am a grade nine student. My interests include basketball, art, and interior design. My favorite subject in school as of right now is foods because I get the opportunity to cook and bake many different dishes. This is my first year of high school and so far I am enjoying my classes here much better than middle school because of all the amazing electives we get to choose from. In the future, I would like to pursue a career as a lawyer or a teacher. I hope that I will accomplish my goals and get the job that I am most interested in.

A quote I think is important to look back to is: Today i will not stress over things I can’t control.

The reason I think this quote is important is because in modern-day society we always have so much going on, and social media is almost like a separate world that we have to keep track of and stay relevant to. I think that this quote reminds you that sometimes instead of worrying about things that are out of control or way into the future you need to focus on what is important now, and what needs to be done in present time.

I chose this video because the message it sends out is important, climate change is happening and we need to do something about it before its too late. Climate change is a problem we brought upon ourselves and it’s up to us to find a solution, our ecosystem is becoming ruined because of our mistakes and our actions. This problem won’t go away and it needs to be acted on.

I chose this photo of this adorable puppy because animals make me happy, and this photo reminds me of my love for animals, especially dogs. I love dogs especially because of their energy and loyalty.

Pinterest for me is a good tool for inspiration on crafts, room decor or upcoming events. In my opinion, Pinterest is an easy way of browsing through reference photos and other ideas without watching an entire youtube video.
