Digital Literacy 10

Q1: How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities?

A:  1. Work: Maybe when we try to find a job and they will check the digital footprint to understand what kind of person you are, and they may figure out your hobbies. If we always visit some bad websites, then maybe the boss won’t hiring you.

2. University: When we go to a university for an interview, maybe they will ask what websites you always visit, and they may check your history and if they think some of the websites are not good, they may say no to you.

3. If we visit some websites which are not safe, and you type your password(something important or like credit card’ s password) maybe they will give way by some mistake, then you may get a big lose.(things like this always happen)

Q2: Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

A:  1. Don’t visit the websites which are not safe(If you know that)

2. when we are visiting some websites which need some important things’ password, we can use Incognito mode to make sure our information won’t give way.

3. Minimize the use of public WI-FI to do some network(I don’t know is it safe or not, but I heard some news about it) I think it can help us to be safe on the internet.

Q3: What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

A: Yes, I will. because friends should help each other.

When we talk something about something I learned, and they don’t really know it, I will tell them the things I learned, and ask do they agree with the view, If they don’t agree, then we can discuss it, then maybe we can have more ideas, then we can learn more thing!

That what I think about these three questions.

Thank you!

You received a passing mark on your Digital Footprint assignment. Here is your evaluation:

Message shows an understanding of your digital footprint but some information was minimal or irrelevant. The media compliments the text but could be better. You also need to cite your sources. The final product is not well received by the audience and would not necessarily illicit a response or further discussion
