About Me
Hello! My name is Emily. I am a positive person and I enjoy spending time with my friends. I try my hardest in every subject and my work shows it. In my spare time I enjoy to read and write. I have been to Europe twice where I was able to learn about different cultures. I enjoy spending time with my family as they are some of the most important people in my life. My Dad taught me how to windsurf and I still adore it to this day. My idol is Emma Watson because she is fighting for women rights. I am a feminist and I want to work in women’s rights when I grow up.
“Speaking personally, you can have my gun, but you’ll take my book when you pry my cold, dead fingers off of the binding.”
This quote is one that amuses me but at the same time resonates with me. When I discovered this quote I had a good laugh with my friends because they all thought that it was the most me quote they had ever heard. I like how it shows that people can take your weapons away but they can never take your imagination away. I also like how it just shows how much a book can impact a life.
My favourite website is below. I like pinterest because it is a place that you can creatively express yourself while keeping everything organized. I also love how you can find amazing art work and sometimes you can find some thing new you like.
My favourite picture is below. I like it because it has a deer which is my favourite animal and I love that it is making a silly face. It also looks like it might have been one of those photos that was caught at just the right time which makes me wonder, what was the deer doing? Perhaps it was trying to shake a fly of its nose? Be that as it may I love this picture and it always puts a smile on my face.
My favourite video is below. I like it because it is a funny stab at our city. The people who made it are from Vancouver which makes it even better because everything they are talking about is exaggerated first hand knowledge. The video looks and sounds like its trying to be some-what educational, but it just makes every Vancouverite laugh. Overall, It hasn’t changed my life dramatically but I appreciate it none the less.
I really like how you have integrated various media (video, images, links) into your post. You have done a very good job constructing your page and commenting about yourself and your interests whilst still being mindful of your online presence. Good work. 5/5
