My digital footprint can affect my future opportunities by how it is viewed, if someone gets the wrong impression from my digital footprint, it could impact me, and not for the better. Another way this could impact my future is for the better, people could see a lot of accomplishments of mine, and get a good impression of me.

Three ways you can keep your digital footprint safe are, making sure you think twice before posting, it’s a good idea to think, “what would my parents say if they saw this”. The next way is to keep a list of all social media/ other accounts you have, just to make sure you don’t forget something that will come back and affect you. The last way for keeping your digital footprint safe is, use digital tools to manage your footprint, a host of browser extensions and app add-ons can also limit the surreptitious capture of personal information.

Some information I learned that I would pass on to other students is to make sure your 100% sure about how your actions now (digitally or otherwise) will affect your future, I would also tell them to google themselves to see what comes up. I would tell students by starting a website

Infographic Assignment
I could not locate your Digital footprint assignment, so you have received an incomplete. It should be under your Digital Literacy 10 heading, and be a page titled Digital Footprint
There are 3 questions to answer in this assignment:
1) How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples.
2) Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.
3) What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
You should have six related images in your post, with links to your sources and examples to support your points.

Idan, 3 – While you have done a satisfactory job gathering your information and examining the three main topics associated with this assignment (google searches, reliability of information, and your personal learning network) you have not taken that information and used it in an infographic as was required by the assignment criteria. In order to improve your mark you will need to transfer your information to an infographic and embed that into your Digital Literacy 10 page in addition to posting screenshots from part one of the assignment.
