Hi, I’m Kai and I am a Grade 9 student at a high school in Port Moody. I do a couple of sports outside of school including basketball and ice hockey but I am always trying to stay active and fit. I like to hang out with my friends a lot. I also like to play a lot of video games such as fortnite, call of duty and assassins creed. I have a couple of hobbies such as cooking, working out and reading. I like to read mystery/ thriller books. My all-time favorite book would probably be Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I do not have a job because it is quite hard to find a real job at 13 years old but I do get paid to referee hockey and I also do extras and background work in movies and tv shows as well. I live in Port Moody with my mom, dad, twin brother and sister and my little puppy. These are the simple things that make me the person that I am.

I  enjoy school most of the time but not always. It depends on what subjects I am working on. My favorite subjects are PE and Social Studies. Last year my best subjects were PE, French, and Science. I also like to travel a lot. Last fall I went to Thailand with my cousins for two weeks. That was probably the coolest experience of my life so far.

This is one of my favorite Youtube videos. I like it because James Harden is my favorite basketball player and basketball is my favorite sport. The video is titled ” James Harden 10 Impossible Shots”. It’s cool to watch your favorite player do things that you didn’t even know were possible. I like to watch a player I idolize or like because I find it easier to imagine that I could do that as well if I practice

Sportsnet is my favorite website. I don’t read a lot online but when I do I read Sportsnet because I am a big sports fan. I play hockey and basketball and those are the sports I read up on.

I took this photo when I was in Thailand last year. This is one of my favorite photos because of the memories it brings back. It reminds me of when my family and I went exploring around the island in Thailand. It reminds me of the food we ate and all the amazing stuff we experienced.

My favorite Quote:

This is by far my most favorite quote of all time. It is saying that you can’t make your shot if you don’t take it. If you don’t try then there’s no point in even believing that you have a chance of making it. Whether it’s a sports team or a job if you don’t take your shot and try out for the team or go to the job interview then obviously you have no chance of making the team or getting the job. You can’t get cut if you don’t try out in the first place.
