About Me

Hi, my name is Rachel. My favorite colour is lilac and I love red roses. In my spare time I read and watch movies. My favorite books and movies would have to be The Chronicles of Narnia. I am a cat person and have had three before. I would really like to get a kitten now because we have no other animals at the moment.  I play field hockey in the spring and on the school team. I also love sunsets, chocolate, nature, and my family. I like listening to Maroon 5 and watching YouTube videos.

This is my favorite quote from Kung Fu Panda. In the film Master Oogway is an old wise giant tortoise and is a master in the art of kung fu. I chose this quote because it tells me not to worry about the past and not to worry about the future but to live life now as it is. It also says the today is a gift to me meaning not to take it for granted and look at it like a gift. I also chose it because it is from  one of my favorite movies and it means a lot to me.

My favorite YouTube video is a song called Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson. It is meaningful to me because of the story it shares. It was a song I had heard that got stuck in my head but I couldn’t remember what it was called. I later found it on YouTube and listened to it. It makes me thankful that something like that hadn’t happened to me.

This website is to a M&M cookie recipe. I love to bake and I love M&M’s. It is my favorite website because I love to make these cookies and use this recipe all the time. The cookies always taste so good and I have so much fun making them.

This photo is of a cat from the SPCA. SPCA is a not-for-profit organization which relies primarily on community donations to help animals in need. They serve sick, neglected, abused and homeless animals. They make a difference for animals in our community. I love animals and this image impacted me because I want to help these animals and I know that I now have the power to help them.
