tenor sax

my extracurricular activity is playing the tenor sax. The reason I choose this extracurricular activity is that it is the one that speaks to me the most and I’m really proud of it because I was playing this instrument for only 4 months now, and for that short of a period, I’m pretty good. When I play something nice it always inspires me to work on another song and another and another. The tenor saxophone is a medium-sized member of the saxophone family, and to learn it you need a lot of patience. it has 32 different notes and 4 different pitches. It also inspires me to learn more instruments like the French horn the flute and the tuba.

I’ve tried to learn so many different types of instruments in my life like the piano and the guitar but none of them fit me as right as the tenor sax. Playing the sax’s is easier like it took me 3 years to master the piano and then in a year I forgot it all, but I don’t think I’ll ever forget the tenor sax.

here is a video that will make you love this instrument 🙂

I enjoy playing the tenor sax because it brings joy to my heart. I feel like it takes away all the negative energy and replaces it with positive energy. Like when some people listen to music to release their anxiety, I play my saxophone and it helps me 10x better than listening to music. Imagine blowing into something and creating this beautiful tune in all your worries disappear. That’s why I love this instrument!. Without the tenor sax, my life would have no joy. Although I do get frustrated when I can’t get a song to sound right, but it always works out in the end. I also play in the junior concert band, here in heritage woods. and right now we are preparing for the winter concert.
