About me

My name is Sofiya and this is about me. I am an almost-fourteen year old who loves spending their time outdoors. Whether it comes to exploring around my forest and golf courses, road trips, kayaking, running, or even just laying on my hammock. Besides being outside, I do love to have my personal down-time. If that means reading a book with candles and tea, or watching a movie with my mom and sister. Sasha is my best friend and I look up to her in so many different ways. We do a lot of family stuff so we have gotten close at a young age from that. We love obsessing over the same Netflix shows and books. Never less, I am a quirky girl who loves her friends and family as much as she loves herself.

An image that has impacted me

This image has impacted me in the sense of how our society is like. It shows how these days we complain about hot summer days, being thirsty(which we can just go to our fridge to get water), while other parts of the world, people are struggling to survive and don’t even have the chance to cool dome or even get water. To me this picture reminds myself to not take things for granted and think about other people who don’t have these benefits as us.

This quote to me is saying don’t listen or take the bad, little things in life to seriously in such way to take away from being happy. It may be from toxic friends, or having a bad day, I shouldn’t let those things get in the way or purposely take me down.

My favourite video

Walt disney’s first speech, the opening day of Disneyland. I myself love Disney and found it a big part of my life growing up. From going to Disneyland, or just watching Disney movies at home I always will find it making me happy . This video especially puts a smile on my face as people watch him tell his speech in this little world he created.
