In order to make these infographics I needed to use critical and creative thinking. The critical thinking came into play when I was doing research on the inventions and was trying to understand how they functioned instead of copy and pasting a bunch of overwhelming facts. The creative thinking surrounded how I would format the page and how I could make the page look organized in an exciting way. I found it was helpful to limit the page to a couple main colours. I think I improved on my time management abilities, as I was able to set tasks for myself to accomplish by certain time stamps. Next time I would like to improve on my processing abilities because when doing research I often find myself overwhelmed and scrolling through information instead of actually reading it.

Open in new tab In this assignment I think I was able to work on and improve my creative thinking skills. While doing this I had to come up with an original storyline that fit the criteria, so I ended up doing a lot of brainstorming and rewriting. My biggest strength was time management, I worked by myself on the project and new that because of this I’d have to budget with a lot more work load. In writing the story my biggest strength was using descriptive words so that the reader could get a better idea of the story’s tone. Next time I want to improve on my presentation skills, as I struggle with speaking confidently when in front of a class, I also need to use better pacing, but overall I am content with the end product.
