Core Competency: Critical Thinking

I can Monitor my progress, and adjust my actions to make sure that I achieve what I want. I feel that I met this goal whist working on this project. I did most of the work on this project throughout the winter break, and I feel like I managed myself well. I broke this assignment up throughout the break, doing even parts of work throughout the days, leading to me finish on time. I fell behind a couple times, but I was able to recover, eventually leading to a good finished project that I was happy with.

I can consider more than one way to proceed an investigation. I met this goal while I was researching. Sometimes I would get stuck on websites, not finding the information that I needed. To counter this I would research using another source of information. Whether that was just another website or, actually asking someone else who did this project how they found their information. This proved to help me positively, and I feel comfortable with what information I was able to put out.

I can experiment with different ways of doing things. I achieved this by researching in different ways. When I was researching I didn’t use just one source. I had to use different sources. That would mean that I had to use different sources. While I was trying to sit e my sources, some of them had missing information. I would then have to look through websites differently, trying to find the necessary information. Doing this got all my citations done and my entire project was copyright free, leading to a better mark.

Ways I want to improve are…

If I were to do this again, I think that I would definitely try to get this project done sooner. I feel like if I used my class time better, than I could have my entire break and not have to do homework.
