Open in new tab When Doing my invention project I feel that we generated quite a few of ideas to show at the walk around. When we were doing our brainstorm we were able to think about what our struggles are in life and what is annoying. With these ideas that we came up with we chose the Peanut Butter Push Up. But before choosing this we had to think of how we would make it and how many people would like it, So we talked to some of our friends to see if they like it. Most of them said it was very smart and could help a lot.
Also when doing this I found that when asking other people for ideas helped. After asking others we decided to build on those with other inventions. We came up with around 10 different inventions that we could do and what is annoying for us. After that we decided to lower all of them to only have three ideas. After that we asked more people what is the best and they liked The Peanut Butter Push Up. so we decided to use it for our invention fair. overall I feel that our creative thinking was pretty good but could’ve been improved.
I feel that we could’ve done a couple of things better. One big thing that I believe is having a poster up so more people can see from far away. Not just that it would make our station look way neater. Another big thing that would’ve made our project better is actually making a real invention. Even if we didn’t make one we could’ve drew a detailed picture of what it will do. If we made it we could’ve let other people try our invention to see how annoying it really is. With my core competency creative thinking I wish that we added more detail to everything to make it look better and more creative.
