MY EXTRACURRICLAR ACTIVITY MTB JAKE

The extra curricular activity that I really like doing is mountain biking. I chose mountain biking because it is something that Im passionate about. I love and enjoy doing whenever I get free time, I also enjoy playing hockey but I have found mountain bike a lot more fun and exciting. I have been able to ride bike since I was young but only in the past 2 years been taking it seriously including doing progressive tricks such as anback flip onto dirt and sending huge jumps in Whistler and going as fast as I can on my local trails. The first time I went trail riding was in grade 7 when of my friend invited me to go for a ride. I was really bad and scared I never thought I would like it but after he kept asking me to go I started to really enjoy it. When I started I was on my sisters bike with no suspension and after a while after it started to break down. Once I got better, I invested in a full suspension mountain bike it helped me progress insanely.

I think mountain biking have impacted me a lot. I have made lots of friends from different schools and different ages. I think it has made me a stronger person as I have become more confident in my abilities. Thru mountain biking I have learned new skills such as photography and filming. I have also learned how to take calculated risks, and to judge how dangerous a jump or obstacle can be.I think in the future I will continue to enjoy mountain biking  and are working at getting better at it. Ive  done a few races so I wouldn’t mind trying some of those I don’t think I will go pro but I would like to try. I couldn’t be more happy to continue riding  for the rest of my life.
