Heart rate experiment

In this project I think the core competency that I did the best is creative thinking. Our group was able to finish the project because of expanding on the other people’s idea, creating hypothesis for the experiment, and coming up with creative solution

To start off, we were able to come up with our experiment topic, because we were able to build on and combine all our ideas all together. For example, Evan suggested to test out if drinking water effects our heart rate, but we feel like it is too simple. On the other hand, I came up with an idea that you would increase your heartrate by doing push, but we already knew the answer. So, we simply combined them altogether to come up with an idea that does doing push up make your heartrate faster comparing to drinking water and then doing push up.

More importantly, we did exceptionally well at creating hypothesis for the experiment. At first, we did not have an agreement on our hypothesis. I said that it would be easier to do push up after drinking 1000 ml water because it helps transport nutrients to give you energy. However, Wajdy did not agree on me, he thinks that it hinders you because you are putting a lot of weights on you. Fortunately, we were able to solve the question because after hearing Wajdy’s explanation, I thought he also has a strong reasoning, and it also turned out to be correct.

Most importantly, we were all able to complete this experiment easily because we all know how to questions effectively. For instance, we did not know how to measure 1000ml, but we are able to come up with an idea: just bring a 500 ml water bottle and drink two of them. Moreover, Wajdy had his head problem so he couldn’t do push, we were also able to solve that by just not including him on that individual part. Best of all, we were able to save a lot of times with our solutions.

Socials 9 American Revolution

I think the core competency that I did the best at is creative thinking. I was able to finish the project because of building on the other students ideas, mixing the story with my own opinion, and asking for help form my classmates.

To start off, I did not know what to draw and where to start, but I was able to complete it by looking up on the internet, see all the creative ideas that the other student has, then polish and build on it with some of my own ideas. Finally, I finally comes up with an interesting idea in my head and use it to complete my comic strip.

More importantly, I was able to finish my project because when I struggle and could not figure it out, I would ask my classmate to help me out. For instance, if I don’t know what to draw to visualize this part, I would ask suggestions for them and combine it with my own idea. Then finally, use it to make my comic strip more entertaining.

Last but not least, I was able to mix the story with my own opinion to make it more complete. In another word, I did not not know why the soldiers shot the American citizens during the Boston Massacre, so I analyzed it and created a version that I think is the most creative and interesting way to show it with my comic strip, and I think I did pretty well at that.

Overall, I think I still have a lot of room to improve on, it could still be polished more, but generally i did a pretty good job at making the story entertaining and interesting, mostly because of my creative thinking, ability to ask for help and mixing story with my own opinion.

Extracurricular

Outside of school, I like to play basketball at the weekend. I would go to open gym at flex and lunch and port Moddy community center to play drop in basketball form 5pm to 9pm. I also go to morning agility from 7:30am to 9 am to train my basketball skill. I always like to carry a ball with me, because I just feel comfortable carrying a ball with me. I also watch a lot of NBA; it is honestly really entertaining to see some of the best players in the world battle out in the NBA playoffs. I like to bet with my friends who is going to win the NBA champion this year. I predicted Los Angeles Laker because I am a big Anthony Davis fan, and they are also leading the league in winning percentage. I even like to play video games about basketball, I play NBA 2k20 mobile on my phone, and I am planning to get a copy of legend edition for Nintendo switch.

Socials 9 industrial revolution invention project

During this project, I did a pretty good job at the creative thinking. I was able to come up with some interesting ideas about our product. I came up with a combination of spring cushioning and full length zoom max which makes the best cushioning in the world. I also came up with the auto lacing system so it has the best fit in the world.

I was also able to work really well with my groups and build on their ideas. For instance, Santino came up with the elite orb, so me and Jeffery were able to build on it and put it on the out sole of the shoe so it could levitate you.

Most importantly, I also did a pretty good job at developing my ideas. At first, I came up with a silly idea of make a shoe with a 40 meter zoom When I realized that is not a good idea, I changed it and made the spring cushioning system.

Our group did struggle a bit to come up with a brand name. However, we solved t relatively easy by working together as a group, coming up with lots of creative ideas. At last, we decided that to name our company flashy, and named our shoes zoom adapt elite.

Overall, we did pretty well as a group. We all worked really hard and I think I am the best at creative thinking.

good place

                                                                                          1

My favorite character is Chidi, because he has a very humble and likeable personality, it shows to the

audience a great example of what the people in the god place should be like, and that will highlight

Eleanor’s character even more

When Eleanor heard that he likes clown and is a good person, she immediately said yes, but later, we

discovered that she hates clown. That is a verbal irony because she is trying to lie.

When Elanor’s neighbor said Elanor’s house is a cute house, she is a =using verbal irony, because she

meant to make fun of her house.

All our action will be put into a negative or positive action, and if you reach a certain point, you will

be able to go to the “good place” to enjoy your afterlife.

I thought this episode was good, because it did successfully introduce the setting to the audience.

However, in terms f character development we only got to see two character show their personality, we

didn’t really get to know the other character very well. So, that’s something they can work on for the

next episode.

                                                                                      2

When the other guys ask Elanor if she enjoys cleaning up, she is using a verbal irony, because she is a

selfish person and meant that she is boring.

When Elanor had a nightmare, we knew that she feels bad and she will clean up the garbage that she

left and that is a situational irony, because we already saw the character development and we saw it

Coming.

We found out that Elanor is not the only person that does not belong here, and he does not know

anything about it.

I thought this episode is good, because throughout the episode, we see the characters of

a lot of people like Michael and Tahanie, and I can make connection with them, but I feel like the pace

of the episode is too slow, it is slowly becoming. So, I think they should make the pace fo the story

faster next time.
