Core competencies reflection

 

Core Competency: communication

 

Evidence that I can communicate with my group is… we had originally said that we would see if they liked a solid vs a powder. Later on we just decided to do sugar vs salt because they are both little crystals so it might be easy for the wood bugs to consume. We had also communicated by organizing who would bring what for the experiment I brought sugar and the salt, Anthony brought the wood bugs and we used harry and nolands devices to work on.  While the wood bugs  were choosing we had come up with a few observations like, they would go to one and observe it for a bit then avoid it completely. During this time we had multiple disagreements on what we thought they were doing.

 

How could I have done better

 

With my group I did communicate a fair bit but I know that I could of done better. If I think about it we could of used something better than sugar and salt, something more interesting. An example of this is sugar mixed with lemon juice, kayan peper, or maybe cold water vs hot.  During the experiment we should of taken down more notes because we did not give much attention to the bugs. Overall I think that we did good but we could of done better.
