Something I do outside of the classroom that I’m very proud of is the fact that I do what I tell myself I’m going to do. An example is, whenever I say to myself that I’m going to get a workout or study that day, I actually do it and I don’t procrastinate. This was a huge improvement for me compared to last year. Because those minutes and hours I spend in the “dark” are the ones that will put me in the “light”.

Just like this moon here, if you’re on the left hand side of it, if you work, push, and grind your way through the darkness, it will put you out in the light, that’s when success comes.

Since I’m trying to be a soccer player or a boxer, I need to work super hard, and train harder than everyone else, most importantly, harder than I did the day before, and then opportunities and success will come on their own.

This picture motivates me a lot. It shows me that if some person can get up and do this, then there’s no reason or excuse for me not to. Boxing also lets me take out my anger whenever I have it or need to, and is also great exercise!

The fact that I’ve set my mind to doing things and not wasting my time is one of the things I’m most proud of this year. It’s changing me slowly, both mentally and physically. One day I want to look back and say to myself, good job for keeping up the hard work, look at where it put you right now.
