today we did a lit circle on yesterday’s homework -for tomorrow you need to have two broad topics that you want to use in your lit circle on Friday, when talking about the novel.

-rehearsal period for the skits.  Performances begin on Thursday

-practice your stanza for the ballad on Lord and Lady Hartley -find TWO articles that you would like to make a ballad for.  I will choose one for you on Tuesday

today we continued to work on the skits.  Please make sure that you have finished writing the script by Tuesday of next week and come ready to rehearse and practice.  Presentations will begin on Thursday

-please use the two poems below (one written, one oral) and compare the content to “The Giver”.  Be ready to do a Lit Circle on Tuesday.

-please mark the rhythm and the rhyme scheme for the ballad on the Taser Incident.  Next, please write the main point of each stanza.

-today we went over the Skit expectations and everyone signed up for a scene.  The skits will begin on Thursday next week. Please see below for suggestions on preparation for your skit.

-today we went over the concept of a Lit Circle and did a practice run -tomorrow please have picked out two possible “Big Ideas” that you think you would like to use in your Lit Circle.
