We are going to start off our Novel Study Unit. My intent at this point is to use our blogs to hand in big assignments, use my blog to convey lessons and assignments (like we have done in the past), and use Teams to have group discussions/virtual lit circles, in-class writes, and collect some smaller things like quizzes/ surveys, etc.
Schedule:
Please make sure you check the blog every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. I will post assignments, instructions, and lessons by noon (close to our class time) but we will not be meeting every day at our usual time. There may be scheduled âmeetingsâ in the future, which will take place during our class time. I will post when you should check the Office 365 Team site and I will check it daily in case you have any questions and would rather post there instead of emailing me. Please make sure you turn on your notifications, you will be informed when you need to check the Team as well.

I have also provided a list of links that you can search in order to find a free eBook. I know this may take some time to find an eBook that you like, the books are not guaranteed have an eBook version available, so choose a few books that you are interested in. You can also google search the novel title âfree eBook or pdfâ if you would rather find your own link. You can also look on a public library website but be warned that public libraries often have a borrowing period of 21 days.

This site below has many links to choose from to find the book you want. This may require some time because some of the sites no longer work, there is a charge, or you canât find the book you want. Donât stress, you have a couple of days to find a book and start to read it to ensure that you like it.
