-today I collected the plot graphs and we finished the Cultural package. I started conferencing with students today about their writing, reading, and oral skills. -tomorrow please have the package finished and the setting written for the short story.

-finish reading the short story and answer the questions #3,4, 5, & 9 for Tuesday.

-read the short story for Tuesday. Annotate the parts where technology is used and the reason for its use.

-finish writing the plot graph for this story for Tuesday. Tuesday, I will take a look at the plot graph and you can start to write the story.

-read the short story and answer the following questions: #1(would you have tech implanted to enhance your life? Be able to support your answer…3, 4, 5, & 9. -tomorrow will be another lit circle practice.

-today we handed in the homework and completed the worksheet on deconstructing comparison paragraphs -read the news article today and using the template, create a rough draft using the news article and a previous story/poem.

-we went over the short story chart for “Cancer”. This was review for the short story test on Friday -we completed a template for an in class write.

-completed the questions for the “Evil Robot Monkey”. (to be collected tomorrow) -handed back Literary Device Quiz -discussed “Work Habit” expectations/criteria

-please finish reading the short story, “Cancer” and plot it on the chart -handed back the vocab quiz and did corrections during tutorial.
