Past:
Today I will be discussing my absorbing journey throughout the intriguing sport of soccer. I have been playing soccer all my life, whether at the beach or in an alley, I am always dribbling a ball. Soccer has fully intrigued me for about 7 years now, I consider it an art. I began my registration journey with they sport in 2014, 2 years after my immigration to Canada. Before this I only played recreational, thinking the same in Canada. At the age of 9 I was offered a tryout. Up until this point I never considered the next level, it was a new concept for me. My parents supported my decision, although they also influenced me to try it out, I decided to attempt it. I completed the the tryout, i was rejected. I did not feel the passion for the sport to regret what occurred, yet this soon changed for me. I soon began to greatly involve myself with the sport, giving it my all. After moving to Richmond, I had joined the local club, at the age of 11 the opportunity arose once again.I had taken upon the offer with no hesitation, convinced for a opportunity at a higher level. My tryout went great, I received the spot. I had played for Richmond 2 years, giving it my all. At the age of 13 my family had moved to Coquitlam, I was devastated. I had lost great passion for the sport, believing there was no hope, my family encouraged me other wise. I had tried out again, with my lack of motivation I received a lower position. I had been ready to Quit, when I received an opportunity for a private academy, no try outs. I took upon the opportunity, i am still here today.
Present:
I have now been with premiers High Performance program for almost 1 year, learning new things each day. It is a huge commitment, although rewarding. I am treated well by all staff and I love my team mates. I have been working on being moved up to the older team, the experiences are un replaceable. In my time at the club we have traveled to the USA for a tournament, and to Victoria for an exhibition. We Placed 4th in the league, with many more expectations to come. I currently train 3 days a week (currently off season) playing outdoor, indoor, with many team building activities. In conclusion I overall enjoy my current situation. I am happy with the way I’m treated and my current state, with much preparation for the future I feel secure and prepared working hard every day.
I currently don’t obtain any photos of myself, yet my highlights are on a accessible and simple website and several photos are on the club website.
