April 14th – Fairy Tale Crimes – Criminal Code of Canada Introduction

Hello everyone,

So after looking briefly at what a crime is in the previous post we are going to start with our first online project. You can elect to work on this in groups or individually, it is up to you.

  1. Please email me when you have selected your group members and fairy tale. (groups should be no more than three people for this assignment).
  2. You can select any fairy tale – even one’s not on the list. Be sure to find the Grimm version or an older version. Do not go with the Disney versions, they are PG and are pretty tame compared to some of the older versions. To find the fairy tales online do a google search with .pdf at the end (ie. The Juniper Tree .pdf)
  3. You cannot do Snow White as this is the example here – https://prezi.com/chhqsv6-ugim/snow-white-criminal-elements/
  4. You can find the Criminal Code of Canada on this website under Law 12 and Useful Links – it should be the second link on the page.

Below is a video (it is a little long but is good) about adding narration to your slides in PowerPoint. As we cannot actually have you present narration of your PowerPoint is part of the assignment under these online learning conditions.
