Ceramics 9 Sculpture Controversies

This assignment was completed in remote/ hybrid learning. The task was to find articles on the statue controversy that is happening in Canada right now about whether or not to remove statues or monuments of Canadian “heroes”; some are arguing to take down the statues because they represent what those people stood for: confederacy, slavery, and racism. Others are arguing to preserve the statues because they represent Canada’s history, and it is important to remember history.

Science 9 Microsocope Lab

This is a Rotifer. This photo was taken from birdbath water from my backyard that was put under a microscope from our microscope lab in Science 9. On that day we were studying cells under microscopes, and we encouraged to bring samples of something from home to look at up close. I thought this was a really interesting part of our science unit.
